Hello to all the readers! Thank you for clicking on my name 
I’m guessing as you’ve clicked on me that you would like some information about me so here you go:
My name’s Lizz, I’m 14 and I was born with a unilateral Cleft Lip and Palate on my left side. Although you may find this strange or think I’m a tad weird because of it I can’t help but say that I love maths. It’s one of my favourite subjects at school along with English, Georgraphy, DT and music. As much as I’m trying to learn how to play the ukulele I’m not that good at it but I love to sing. I think everyone can sing but they’ve just got to find their song. My favourite singers and bands are Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, McFly, Snow Patrol, The Fray, Nirvana etc. I like to go on the internet a lot, as watching Youtube videos has to be one of my most time consuming hobbies. My favourite vloggers are Carrie Hope Fletcher (Itswaypastmybedtime), Phil Lester (Amazingphil) and Dan Howell (Danisnotonfire). The last two mentioned have their own Radio1 show on every Sunday night from 7-9pm and it’s hillarious! :D
One of my favourite things to do is to write. I LOVE to write whether it be poems, short or long stories, novels etc. In late 2012 I won a Waterstones writing competition which I am pretty proud of. I joined CLAPA because making a difference would be a fab thing to do and I know that with a Cleft Lip people stare and it gets super annoying so I really want to raise awareness and reduce the stares I and others get from a tiny scar
What I love about the council is the people on it are all really nice and I’ve made some amazing friends :D

If you would like to become a council member and you are aged between nine and seventeen years old all you have to do is fill out the three-paged application form and send it back to Claire at CLAPA saying why you would like to be involved.
Once Claire has received the completed application form she will take it to the next meeting of the council for the members to see. A decision will be made after that time. The council would really like some new members so please do apply.
