I joined the Children’s council in 2008 as I already have experience of being a part of a school council and I want to help other children and young people with a cleft to increase their confidence.Also i want to raise the profile of clapa.and ilove meeting people who have a cleft &/or palate so i can understand how other people live & deal with the issues of having a cleft &/or palate!

Council Members
Joining the council
If you would like to become a council member and you are aged between nine and seventeen years old all you have to do is fill out the three-paged application form and send it back to Sandy at CLAPA saying why you would like to be involved.
Once Sandy has received the completed application form she will take it to the next meeting of the council for the members to see. A decision will be made after that time. The council would really like some new members so please do apply.
